The Anthill cake really looks like an anthill, and therefore it is always interesting for children who are happy to "meet" this wonderful dessert baked by their mother or grandmother for tea.

Ingredients for the cake:

- condensed milk, can be boiled, 400 g;

- milk 110-120 ml;

- butter 220 g, - flour 450 g, - granulated sugar 80 g, - vanillin one third tsp;

- baking powder 15 g, - sour cream 60 ml, - poppy for confectionery 1 tbsp. l.

Anthill cake recipe:

Put the enamelled stewpan in a water bath, add the declared portion of oil and soften. Add sugar and finally melt, stirring the mixture with a spatula. Finally, add sour cream and vanillin and, stir quickly, remove the mass from the stove.

Combine the flour with a baking powder for dough and transfer it to a slightly cooled sour cream mixture. We knead a fluffy and soft dough, wrapping it with food grade plastic, immediately put it in the freezer for 20 minutes.

Grind the frozen dough in a food processor or meat grinder, or you can grate it on a grater with large cells, but this will be quite laborious. Scatter the dough shavings on a sheet of culinary parchment, level and bake the base for the Anthill cake - half an hour at 180 degrees in a conventional oven.

While the oven is "working", we make a cream from two types of milk: condensed and ordinary. We heat the drink to about 80 degrees and add a little condensed milk, working with a mixer at medium speed. We continue to mix the condensed milk, without ceasing to beat vigorously.

Cool the cream for a quarter of an hour, and then pour the baked dough shavings into it. Mix gently with two forks and transfer to a dish covered with foil or baking paper.

We give the cake the shape of an "ant house", sprinkle with confectionery poppy on all sides and place in the refrigerator for impregnation. Three hours will be enough. Spectacular and appetizing Anthill cake is ready to become a table decoration!
