The original recipe for making liqueur cannot be found, as it is kept in the strictest confidence. But winemakers found a way out and developed several methods that allow you to repeat this famous orange drink at home.

It is necessary

  • - vodka - 1/2 liter,
  • -ripe oranges - 3 pcs,
  • - water - 400 ml,
  • -sugar - 400 grams,
  • - cinnamon - 1 stick.

Instructions

Step 1

We wash the oranges under running water.

Step 2

Pour 400 ml of water into a saucepan, add 400 grams of sugar, put on moderate heat. Stir the syrup so that it does not burn. The sugar should be completely dissolved. Remove the finished syrup from heat.

Step 3

Remove the top skin (zest) from the oranges. Cut the zest into small pieces and transfer it to the sugar syrup, stir. Add a cinnamon stick (if you are not very fond of cinnamon, you can make liqueur without it).

Step 4

Squeeze juice from the pulp of oranges, which we pour into a saucepan. Leave it to brew for ten minutes.

Step 5

Pour vodka into a saucepan. Mix well, pour the liquid mass into a jar, which is tightly closed.

Step 6

We put the can with the drink in a cool place (preferably dark) for four days. Shake the jar of liquor every day.

Step 7

After four days, filter the liquor through two or three layers of gauze. The gauze gets dirty when filtering, so you need to change it.

Step 8

We pour the liquor into clean and dry bottles. We remove the liquor for five days in a cool place. If you want a thicker drink, leave the bottles in a cool, dark place for a week.
