Incredibly tasty and original sweets, which are very popular in Poland, will decorate any festive table.

It is necessary

  • For cookies:
  • - 200 g groundnuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds);
  • - 200 g of icing sugar;
  • - 1 egg white;
  • - waffles or small shortbread cookies (for the bottom of the hives);
  • For the cream:
  • - 50 g butter;
  • - 80 g of icing sugar;
  • - 1 egg yolk;
  • - 40 ml of liquor;

Instructions

Step 1

After placing all the ingredients (chopped nuts, powder and protein) in a bowl, mix thoroughly. If the mixture is too thin, add in equal proportions of nuts and powdered sugar, as the total density depends on the amount of protein.

Step 2

Prepare hive molds. To make cookies, special forms in the form of beehives are needed, but they can be replaced with any others.

From the prepared mixture, separating piece by piece, form a ball in the size corresponding to the shape of the beehive, sprinkle it lightly with powdered sugar. Place the prepared ball in a mold, using a wooden spoon handle or a special device, make a depression in the hive for filling with cream. Opening the form, free the finished hive, set aside on a plate.

Thus, make all the hives and place them in the refrigerator for several hours.

Step 3

From waffles or shortbread cookies, cut round shapes to fit the bottom of the hive.

Stir the softened butter and icing sugar with a mixer, add the egg yolk and mix again. Then pour a small stream of liquor into the mass, stirring constantly.
