Of all the Italian dishes, pizza is the most common. It is prepared with a wide variety of fillings - with meat, vegetables and fish. A recipe for pizza with smoked mackerel has even appeared in Russia.

- 1/3 cup water;
- 1/4 tbsp. milk;
- 1 tbsp. flour;
- a pinch of salt;
- 1 tbsp. l. olive oil;
- 500 g of tomatoes;
- 1 tbsp. l. tomato paste;
- a bunch of basil;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 150 g smoked mackerel;
- 1 bell pepper;
- 50 g olives;
- several gherkins;
- Parmesan cheese to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Make pizza dough. Warm milk and water to room temperature, drain into one bowl. Add yeast and salt there, mix, leave for 5 minutes. Then add flour to the water, knead the dough thoroughly. Pour in olive oil and knead the mixture again until smooth. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour.
Step 2
Prepare the sauce. Heat the olive oil in a skillet, chop the garlic finely and fry for 3-4 minutes. Scald the tomatoes with boiling water, remove the skin and cut into cubes. Add to garlic. Simmer them for at least 10 minutes over medium heat, then add chopped basil and tomato paste there. Season with salt and pepper. Stir and cook the sauce until slightly thickened. The finished sauce can be rubbed through a sieve for uniformity.
Step 3
Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Roll it out thinly, brush with olive oil and roll it back into a ball. Then re-roll and place in a buttered round pan so that the pizza has a short, thick edge. Pierce the dough with a knife in several places, and then brush with the cooked tomato sauce.
Step 4
Take care of the stuffing. Cut the smoked mackerel into cubes. Chop the bell peppers, peeled from seeds, into strips, cut the pitted olives into slices. You can also add plastic-cut gherkins. Spread the filling on the pizza evenly. Then sprinkle with grated Parmesan and garnish with basil. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Bake the pizza for 7-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edges of the dough begin to brown.
Step 5
There is also another technology for baking pizza. In the second case, you should first bake the dough without sauce for 5 minutes, and then put all the filling on it and cook until the cheese melts.
