It is necessary

    • 2-3 large carrots;
    • 1 tbsp. oatmeal;
    • 3 tbsp. milk;
    • 2-3 tsp Sahara;
    • 100 g butter;
    • 2-3 eggs;
    • flour;
    • cast iron pan with low sides;
    • salt;
    • a piece of lard.

Instructions

Step 1

Peel the carrots, rinse under running water. Pass the vegetables through a juicer to extract the juice.

Step 2

If necessary, carrot juice can be replaced with vegetable puree. To do this, boil the carrots and chop in a blender or through a sieve.

Step 3

Pour one glass of milk over the oatmeal, season with salt to taste and put on low heat. When the flakes begin to swell, add the butter.

Step 4

Wait for it to melt. Stir until smooth and set aside from heat. Let the oatmeal cool slightly.

Step 5

Beat the eggs and sugar with a mixer until a fluffy white foam forms. Combine it with oatmeal and continue whisking until smooth.

Step 6

Pour carrot juice or puree and 2 cups of milk into the dough. Sift some flour through a sieve. You should get a moderately batter. Put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Step 7

In the meantime, prepare the pan. Pancakes are best prepared in a cast-iron pan specially designed for baking this delicacy. If you don't have one at hand, a regular low-sided frying pan will do.

Step 8

If necessary, rinse it and remove any burnt food from it. Wipe dry. Cover the bottom of the skillet with table salt and top it well over medium heat until golden brown.

Step 9

Then pour the salt, wipe the pan with a soft cloth. Then melt a piece of lard on it. The fat must be completely absorbed into the cast iron.

Step 10

Then pour the dough into the pan in small portions. Spread in quick movements over the entire bottom and bake on both sides until tender.
