  • - 4 eggs,
  • - 8 tbsp. tablespoons of wheat flour,
  • - salt to taste,
  • - ground black pepper to taste (you can add a little red sweet ground pepper),
  • - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of odorless vegetable or sunflower oil.

Step 1

The ingredients are sized for 8 servings.

Rinse the carrots well, peel and grate, preferably fine. But if you want a richer taste, then grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Step 2

Peel and chop the onion. Combine carrots and onions in a bowl, stir. Add eggs, season with black pepper and salt, stir.

Add flour to the vegetable mixture (it is advisable to sift several times to saturate with oxygen before adding). Keep in mind that flour is different and you may need more or less than the specified rate. The finished dough should be thick enough and there should be no liquid in the bowl.

Heat oil in a skillet. Spoon the dough onto the butter with a spoon. Too thick pancakes should not be made, since the dough will not bake. Fry the pancakes on one side for ten minutes. After the dough turns white on top and the bottom turns golden brown, turn the pancakes over and fry until golden brown. Put the finished pancakes in a plate and serve in portions along with sour cream.
