You can prepare many original and delicious dishes from ordinary carrots. One of them is an insanely delicious carrot roll stuffed with soft cheese and fresh herbs. Simple, bright, sophisticated. Suitable for a festive table.
It is necessary
- For the basics:
- -500 grams of carrots,
- -3 medium eggs,
- -30 grams of butter
- -2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil
- - a little fine sea salt,
- - a little black pepper.
- For filling:
- -50 grams of hard cheese,
- -2 processed cheese without additives,
- -50 grams of mayonnaise,
- -100 grams of green onions,
- - fresh herbs to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash carrots, peel, three on a fine grater. Heat butter and vegetable oil in a frying pan, put grated carrots, cover and fry until soft (but do not overcook), transfer to a colander or sieve to drain the fat. We wash well fresh herbs (parsley, dill or cilantro), finely chop. Add three yolks and chopped greens to the carrots, season with salt and ground black pepper (sweet paprika if desired), mix.
Step 2
Cool the squirrels, add a pinch of salt and beat until firm. Gently mix the proteins with the carrot mass.
Step 3
Put a sheet of parchment in a baking dish, spread the carrot mass in an even layer (preferably thin).
Step 4
We preheat the oven to 180 degrees. We bake the carrot biscuit for 15 minutes.
Step 5
We freeze the processed cheese in advance, that is, put them in the freezer for half an hour.
Frozen curds and hard cheese in large three. Chop well washed green onions. Add onion and mayonnaise to a bowl to grated cheeses, mix well. If the filling is dry, then add a little mayonnaise.
Step 6
We take out the carrot biscuit from the oven, leave it for 10-15 minutes. Then carefully turn over the biscuit form onto the film. Remove the paper from the biscuit.
Step 7
Put the cheese filling on the carrot biscuit, level with a spoon. Using the film, we begin to roll up the roll, which we then wrap in a film and put it in a cool place for several hours. Serve the finished roll in portions.
