Pancakes, no doubt, are loved by both adults and children. Each housewife has her own time-tested recipe for cooking her favorite food. However, there is not always time and opportunity to make the dough and bake pancakes. In such situations, pancakes made from lavash will be a real salvation.
To make pancakes you will need:
- thin Armenian lavash;
- boiled eggs;
- raw egg;
- sour cream;
- salt;
- black pepper;
- sunflower oil.
First of all, we prepare the filling: for this we mix boiled eggs, finely chopped green onions, a little sour cream and spices in a bowl. Knead the filling until smooth.
To make pancakes, take thin Armenian lavash, cut it into rectangles of the required size, lay out the filling on each piece, wrap the side edges first, and then roll the lavash into a roll.
We grease the non-stick form with vegetable oil and put the blanks of our pancakes in it. Beat the egg with a fork or whisk until smooth and grease the surface of the pancake with it.
Preheat the oven to 180 - 200 degrees, put a baking sheet in it until golden brown appears.
Also, pita pancakes can be fried in a pan, then you will not need to coat them with a beaten egg.
The filling can be very diverse, in this case it is boiled eggs mixed with green onions, you can also use stewed cabbage, meat filling, boiled condensed milk or your favorite berries. You can make pancakes with several different fillings and please all family members.
