Unusual, beautiful and easy to prepare salad. A worthy dish for a festive table.
It is necessary
- - fresh pineapple - 1 pc.;
- - peeled shrimps - 300 g;
- - lemon - 0.5 pcs.;
- - orange - 0.5 pcs.;
- - olive oil - 4 tablespoons;
- - honey - 1/3 tsp;
- - salt - a pinch;
- - a mixture of peppers - to taste;
- - parsley - 3-4 sprigs.
Instructions
Step 1
For the dish, choose a ripe pineapple with a soft but firm crust. Ripe pineapple should exude a pleasant, yet unobtrusive aroma. The fruit does not need to be refrigerated; low temperatures destroy the pineapple flavor. The correct fruit should have green tops.
Step 2
Rinse fresh fruit under warm running water. Pat dry with paper towels. Use a sharp, handy knife to cut the pineapple into two equal halves. Greens should remain on every part of the tropical fruit.
Step 3
Gently trim the flesh in each part of the pineapple, stepping back 1 centimeter from the rind. Take your time to remove the pulp from the blanks. Rid the resulting pulp from the dense part. Cut the remaining slices into small cubes.
Step 4
Next, tackle the shrimp. Defrost if necessary. Rinse the shrimp in running water and pat dry.
Step 5
Set the skillet on fire, heat the olive oil, add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes. The cooking time depends on the condition of the food, i.e. boiled frozen shrimp is enough to warm up for 1 minute. Remove the prepared shrimp from the pan. Cut the large ones in half, leave the small ones unchanged, salt.
Step 6
Prepare a dressing. Squeeze 2 tablespoons of juice from half a lemon, drain into a bowl. Do the same with the orange. Add honey, pepper and salt to the juice, mix the composition.
Step 7
Toss the shrimp with the pineapple pieces, fill the pineapple halves with the mixture. Pour over the resulting salad with pouring, cover with parsley, garnish with shrimp on top. Serve the dish to the table.
