Salads are an indispensable part of the New Year's feast. If you want to diversify your holiday menu, include an original salad with pineapple and shrimp. Its refreshing taste will delight even a gourmet.

To prepare an unusual New Year's salad, you will need:

  • 150 g peeled shrimp;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 100 g of cheese;
  • 150 g canned pineapple (3 rings);
  • 2 tsp lemon juice;
  • 2 lettuce leaves;
  • a bunch of dill;
  • salt to taste and mayonnaise for dressing.

Boil the eggs, chill in cold water, and then cut into small cubes.

Drain the liquid from the pineapples, or simply pat dry on a paper towel, then cut into small cubes.

Place the shrimp in boiling water. It must be pre-salted, you can also flavor the water by adding a couple of peppercorns, a leaf of lavrushka and dill. After that, bring the water to a boil and cook the seafood for no more than 2 minutes, otherwise they risk becoming "rubber". Place the shrimp in a colander so the water can drain off.

Grate the cheese on a medium-sized grater. Prepare the lettuce leaves: wash, dry, and place on a plate. They will be a kind of decoration for the dish.

Place pineapple cubes on top of the leaves and drizzle with mayonnaise. Then add the chopped eggs and drizzle again with mayonnaise. Then comes the cheese layer, it must also be smeared with mayonnaise on top. The final layer is shrimp. Place them on the cheese, drizzle a little with lemon juice and decorate with herbs.

If your soul wants something even more exotic, try preparing a salad of pineapple and shrimp with tequila for the New Year.

You will need:

300 g peeled shrimp;

  • 125 ml tequila;
  • 1 fresh pineapple;
  • 70 ml of olive oil;
  • 1 tsp grated lime zest;
  • 1 tbsp. l. lime juice;
  • 2 pcs. bell pepper;
  • 1 tbsp. l. sea salt;
  • 250 ml of water.

Combine sea salt, water and tequila. In this mixture, you need to marinate the seafood. For this recipe, you should take not red, but green shrimps. Place them in the sauce for 10 minutes.

Spread the pineapple slices on a large plate, drizzle with half of the olive oil, just don't overdo it. Sprinkle with sea salt.

Whisk the lime juice and zest with the remaining oil and a tablespoon of tequila in a small bowl. Season with pepper and salt. The sauce is ready.

Remove the seafood from the marinade. Pour it and half a glass of water into a frying pan, bring to a boil. Place the marinated shrimp and simmer for a minute. Then refrigerate the seafood.

Cut the bell pepper into thin slices. For this dish, it is advisable to take fruits of different colors, for example, red and yellow. Combine the peppers with shrimp, sauce and finely chopped parsley.

Place the salad on a plate of pineapples, garnish with parsley and serve at New Year's table.
