Instructions

Step 1

Grease a baking dish with butter. Rinse the peaches, remove the seeds, cut into wedges. Place the peach slices in a baking dish, sprinkle with sugar, 2 tbsp. tablespoons of flour and almond extract (it will add a wonderful flavor to baked goods), stir, smooth. You can add a glass of fresh or frozen berries.

Step 2

Mix flour with sugar, baking powder. Beat in an egg, rub with your fingers or a fork until the consistency of crumbly fine crumbs. Spread the crumbs evenly over the peaches. Top with melted butter over the crumb.

Step 3

Place the dish on a baking sheet if your dish has low sides, otherwise the juice from the peaches will drip to the bottom of the oven. Bake Summer Peach Crumble Pie at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. A golden crisp crust should form on top. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
