Salmon baked in dough is an effective and simple recipe for a New Year's and just a festive table.
Required ingredients for the main course:
- fillet of salmon or trout - 200 g;
- yeast-free puff pastry - 20-30 g;
- peeled, boiled shrimps - 30 g;
- cheese mousse - 50 g;
- a pinch of black sesame;
- greens;
- 1 egg;
- a tablespoon of sour cream;
- butter - for greasing the baking sheet;
- salt;
- pepper.
For the cheese and mushroom mousse:
- onion - half a small onion;
- champignons - 100 g;
- cream cheese, soft type "Philadelphia" - 75 g.
Cooking process
Prepared fillet of salmon is cut into pieces of 2–3 cm, each piece is cut in the middle and folded like a butterfly. Roll out the dough about 10x10 cm in size, put two pieces of salmon on it, salt and pepper. Cheese-mushroom mousse is spread on top, shrimps are spread on it and sprinkled with chopped herbs. Cover the fish with dough, pinching it around the edges. Lubricate with a beaten whisk with an egg and sour cream, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in the oven at a temperature of +180 ° C for 15 minutes. Pre-grease the baking sheet with oil.
The total cooking time is 40 minutes.
Cheese and mushroom mousse
Onions are finely chopped and fried with chopped mushrooms, whipped in a mixer with the addition of cheese until the consistency of sour cream. For a side dish, you can serve boiled potatoes cut into slices.
Decorate the dish with lettuce leaves, lemon wedges and soaked lingonberries.
