For lovers of stuffed pepper, there is another unusual filling. Perfect with mashed potatoes or pilaf.
It is necessary
- - 500 g of red (green) sweet pepper;
- - 200 g feta cheese;
- - 4 onion heads;
- - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of fat;
- - 500 g of tomatoes;
- - 200 g bacon;
- - ½ teaspoon of powdered sugar;
- - 2 pods of hot pepper;
- - salt and black pepper.
- For the egg mixture:
- - 1 egg;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of flour;
- - 20 g of milk.
Instructions
Step 1
Heat a frying pan and fry the peppers in hot fat. Cool it down. Peel the peppers, remove the seeds.
Step 2
Cut the cheese into small pieces. Place chopped feta cheese in each pepper pod.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, beat the egg with flour and milk. Dip each pepper in the egg mixture.
Step 4
Heat a skillet with fat and fry the peppers on both sides. Place cooked sautéed pepper pods on a serving platter.
Step 5
Scald the tomatoes with boiling water and peel them off. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces. Cut the bacon into cubes and chop the hot pepper.
Step 6
Grate the onion, fry the resulting onion mass with fat in a hot pan. Add finely chopped tomatoes, bacon and hot peppers. Season with salt, pepper and add a pinch of powdered sugar.
Step 7
Fry the mass until all the water has evaporated in it. Pour the resulting sauce over the prepared pepper pods. Sprinkle finely chopped parsley on top.
