It is necessary

  • Ingredients for 20 pieces:
  • For tortillas:
  • - coarse wheat flour - 480 g;
  • - a teaspoon of salt;
  • - butter - 3 tablespoons;
  • - water - 125 ml.
  • For cheese filling;
  • - 10 pieces of cheese (about 6 centimeters long, 4 centimeters wide, 2 thick);
  • For the chorizo omelet:
  • - 150 g chorizo;
  • - 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil;
  • - half a medium-sized onion;
  • - 5 eggs;
  • - a pinch of salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Sift flour into a large bowl, add salt, softened butter and water (there may be a little more or a little less water than indicated in the recipe, since its amount depends on the type of flour). Knead an elastic and shiny dough. Cover the bowl with a damp towel and set the dough aside for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Divide the finished dough into 20 balls. Place each ball between two sheets of waxed paper. Roll out flat cakes with a diameter of about 8 centimeters. Lightly fry each cake in a pan without oil on both sides until golden brown, set aside. By the way, if you do not want to cook cakes yourself, you can buy them in any large store.

Step 3

Cut the chorizo into small pieces. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, fry the sausages over low heat for 5-7 minutes. Cut the onion into thin half rings, add to the chorizo, fry for another 10 minutes, stirring constantly. In a bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and pour them into the pan. After a few minutes, remove the omelet from the heat and let it cool slightly.

Step 4

Put the cheese in half of the flatbread, and the chorizo omelet in the second, fold the flatbread in half and press down a little so that the filling is evenly distributed.

Step 5

Fry the cakes on both sides in a preheated grill pan (or ordinary pan), serve immediately.
