This recipe will appeal to those who respect a large amount of thick fruit filling combined with a delicate crumbly dough.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - 220 g flour;
- - 60 g granulated sugar;
- - 35 g of instant oatmeal;
- - 115 g of butter.
- For filling:
- - 75 g of sugar;
- - 2 tbsp. corn starch;
- - 140 ml of cold water;
- - 250 g apples (one large);
- - 2/3 tsp vanilla extract.
Instructions
Step 1
Melt the dough butter in a microwave oven or in a water bath. Mix it with flour, oatmeal, granulated sugar and grind everything into small crumbs. Separate 1/3 of the mass for sprinkling the top, and tamp the rest tightly into a split mold with a diameter of 16 cm (it is convenient to do this with the bottom of an ordinary faceted glass), having previously lined the bottom with baking paper and greased its bottom and sides with oil.
Step 2
Peel and core the apple. Slice thinly.
Step 3
In a small saucepan, combine sugar with starch and vanilla extract. Pour in cold water and place on the stove. Wait until it boils, stirring the mixture constantly with a spatula: it should thicken. Remove from the stove and put the prepared apples into it. Mix thoroughly and transfer to mold over base.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Sprinkle the remaining third crumbs over the cake and send to the preheated oven for half an hour.
