Rhubarb is a treasure for chefs. Jam, compote, sauce are made from it … And the pastries are very tasty.
It is necessary
- - rhubarb stem 5 pcs;
- - flour 1, 5 tbsp;
- - sugar 1 tbsp;
- - egg 3 pcs;
- - slaked soda vinegar 1/2 tsp;
- - heavy cream 2 tbsp;
- - powdered sugar 1 tbsp;
- - any chopped nuts 2 tbsp
Instructions
Step 1
Separate the whites from the yolks. Whisk them separately. Beat whites with sugar.
Step 2
Mix both masses gently, add flour and baking soda. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake the crust.
Step 3
Peel off the top fibers from the rhubarb and cut into slices. Boil rhubarb in a little water.
Step 4
Whisk the cream into a stiff froth and icing sugar. Set aside a couple tablespoons. Mix the rest with the rhubarb.
Step 5
Place the cream on a crust and roll up. Top with remaining cream and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
