It is necessary
- - 230 g canned pineapple
- - 1 tbsp. l. starch
- - 4 tbsp. l. apple cider vinegar
- - 2 tbsp. l. soy sauce
- - 1 tbsp. l. tomato paste
- - 2 tbsp. l. light cane sugar
- - 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
- - 350 g lean pork chopped into strips
- - 1 onion, sliced into rings
- - 1 large carrot, cut into strips
- - 220 g canned bamboo shoots (drained)
- - 150 g frozen sweet peppers
- - rice with egg for serving
Instructions
Step 1
Pour the pineapple juice into a mug, add the starch, vinegar, soy sauce, tomato paste and sugar. Set aside.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet until it begins to smoke. Add pork and onion and cook for 3 minutes. Add carrots and cook for another 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add bamboo shoots and pineapple, fry for 1 minute. Pour in the sauce, add the peppers, bring to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Serve with rice.
