For the dough, we take a little warmed up (not hot) milk. We dilute yeast in it and pour half of the flour. Knead well so that there are no lumps. Then cover and set in a warm place for half an hour.

When the dough comes up a little, pour melted, not hot butter and a loose egg into it. Pour in sugar, salt and knead the dough until it stops sticking to your hands. Then again we put the dough in a warm place for an hour and a half to rise.

Step 3

Cooking the filling. Peel the apples, cut into 4 parts and remove the core and tails. Cut into small pieces, pour into a saucepan, sprinkle with sugar, add a few tablespoons of water and simmer until the mass looks like jam. Then add some cinnamon if desired.
