A lush, aromatic cake with various nuts and orange jam will create a pleasant atmosphere of home warmth and comfort. With such a cupcake, any tea party will be joyful and happy.
It is necessary
- - 150 g creamy margarine;
- - 1 tbsp. Sahara;
- - 4 eggs;
- - 330 g of wheat flour;
- - 150 g of nut mixture (any nuts will do);
- - 3 tbsp. orange jam;
- - 1 tsp orange peel;
- - 2 tsp baking powder;
- - 70 ml of dark rum;
- - 200 g of dried fruits;
- - powdered sugar for sprinkling.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut dried fruits into small slices, put in a cup, pour over with rum. Leave to soak for a few hours. Beat the melted butter and sugar with a mixer until smooth, on high speed for 7 minutes.
Step 2
Add eggs one by one to the butter mass. Beat for at least a minute each time. The butter and egg mixture should be soft and airy. Lightly fry the nuts in a dry frying pan, chop into crumbs.
Step 3
Add to the egg and butter mixture the peanuts, orange jam and orange zest, and some of the flour mixed with baking powder. Continue whisking on low speed. Add the rest of the flour in small portions in stages. Add dried fruits and rum residues to the mass, mix with a spoon until smooth.
Step 4
Prepare a large split mold. Lubricate with oil from the inside. Line the bottom and sides of the pan with baking paper. Put the thick dough in a split pan, flatten well with a spoon. Preheat oven to 170 degrees. Place the dough pan in the oven and bake for 50 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the baked nut cake with orange peel jam and orange zest, and cool without removing from the mold for 15 minutes. Remove the warm cake from the pan and let cool completely. Sprinkle the powdered sugar on the cake and serve.

You can experiment with the recipe for this cupcake. You can add coconut, dried cranberries or cherries instead of nuts. Substitute liquor for rum. Each time the taste will be new and will bring a lot of positive emotions.
