"Povidlyanka" is a pie with a pronounced taste of jam of your choice and a hint of almonds on semolina. A small piece of morning tea is enough to satisfy your sweet tooth for the whole day.
It is necessary
- - 3 very large cold eggs;
- - 60 g of sugar;
- - 375 g of jam, jam or preserves;
- - 60 ml rum;
- - 125 g semolina;
- - 40 g of a mixture of nuts;
- - a pinch of salt
- - grease the pan with butter.
Instructions
Step 1
Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the whites with a pinch of salt using a mixer into strong peaks and put in the refrigerator.
Step 2
Grind the mixture of your favorite nuts using a special grinder, kitchen processor or knife. If you want to get a more uniform texture of the cake, bring the jam in advance with a blender until smooth.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a baking dish with a diameter of 25 cm (if baking not in silicone) with soft butter.
Step 4
Using a mixer, grind the yolks thoroughly with a tablespoon of sugar. Add jam, semolina, rum and mix thoroughly. Very carefully, using a spatula, mix the proteins with the rest of the ingredients and transfer the dough into a mold.
Step 5
Sprinkle the dough with a mixture of chopped nuts and the remaining sugar and place in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Then cool the pie completely and cut into portions.
