It is necessary
- For 3 servings:
- - 200 g of pearl barley;
- - 1/2 large sweet red pepper;
- - 1/2 large sweet yellow pepper;
- - 1 small red onion;
- - 1 cucumber;
- - 1 tomato;
- - olive oil for dressing;
- - 1, 5 tbsp. balsamic vinegar;
- - salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the pearl barley and boil, as they say, "by the tooth". To do this, simply shorten the cooking time indicated on the package a little, but in any case, try it!
Step 2
Drain the water from the finished pearl barley and let it cool to room temperature.
Step 3
While the barley is cooling, wash and towel dry all the vegetables. Pepper seeds and cut into small cubes. Also chop the cucumbers with tomatoes and onions. Try to cut as small as possible!
Step 4
Mix all vegetables with cereals, salt and pepper to taste, add a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This salad is especially valuable because it can be prepared in the morning and taken with you to work: it will absolutely not lose its amazing taste!
