Assorted vegetables with meat and green peas can be either a hearty dinner or a main course for lunch. Steamed vegetables and tender meats are ideally complemented by fresh green peas.
It is necessary
- - 500 g pork fillet
- - 1 bunch of green onions
- - 100 ml of broth
- - 4 carrots
- - 450 g fresh (or frozen) green peas
- - salt
- - pepper
- - 2 tbsp. l. lemon juice
- - 2 bell peppers
- - 3 small tomatoes
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the meat into small cubes. Cut the onion into rings, grate the carrots into strips. Cut the tomatoes into several pieces, the bell pepper into half rings.
Step 2
Heat oil in a deep skillet and brown the meat. Fry vegetables and onions in the fat left after the meat. Pour the broth into the resulting mass and simmer everything over low heat for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add meat and green peas to the vegetable mixture. Mix everything thoroughly and simmer for 8 minutes over low heat, covering the pan with a lid.
Step 4
Before serving, you can decorate the dish with thin lemon wedges, sour cream, herbs or sauce. To add originality to the taste of the vegetable platter, you can sprinkle it with lemon juice.
