Exotic salad is distinguished by an unusual combination of products. The salad contains sauerkraut, sweet fruits, vegetables. An unusual dressing complements the salad and harmoniously combines all the ingredients.
It is necessary
- - sauerkraut - 500 g;
- - canned peaches - 300 g;
- - onion - 1 pc.;
- - lettuce leaves - 10-12 leaves;
- - avocado - 1 pc.;
- - cherry tomatoes - 100 g;
- - orange - 1 pc.;
- - honey - 1 tsp;
- - olive oil - 2 tbsp. l.;
- - vegetable oil - 2 tsp;
- - curry - 1 tsp;
- - salt - a pinch;
- - ground black pepper - a pinch;
- - parsley (greens) - 20 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Put the sauerkraut in a colander, and then squeeze to remove excess brine. Remove the peaches from the syrup. Cut each peach into 4 pieces.
Step 2
Peel the onion and cut into thin rings. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Step 3
Remove the zest from the orange, squeeze the juice out of the pulp.
Step 4
Peel the avocado, remove the pit and cut into cubes. Pour half the orange juice over the avocado.
Step 5
Cut the tomatoes in half. Chop the parsley finely.
Step 6
Combine sauerkraut, peaches, fried onions, parsley, cherry tomatoes, avocado. Stir.
Step 7
Dressing preparation. Combine orange juice, zest, honey, olive oil, curry powder, salt, ground pepper. Whisk the mixture.
Step 8
Pour the dressing over the salad and stir again. Place a few lettuce leaves on a serving plate and place a couple of tablespoons of prepared lettuce on top. The dish is ready.
