This pie is a bit like the well-known "Viennese", which is baked with cherry or apple filling, and I suggest you slightly change the streusel and use figs in the filling!
It is necessary
- Dough:
- - 120 ml of softened butter;
- - 60 ml of sugar;
- - 0.25 tsp vanilla;
- - 240 ml flour.
- Filling:
- - 240 ml of boiling water;
- - 60 ml of sugar;
- - 0.5 tsp soda;
- - 240 ml dried figs.
- Chit:
- - 60 ml flour;
- - 60 ml of sugar;
- - 3 tbsp. butter;
- - 60 ml of oatmeal;
- - 50 g of walnuts.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and grease a square, fireproof baking dish with oil.
Step 2
Use an electric whisk to whisk the softened butter into a light creamy mass with added sweetener. Add vanillin and flour, stir until a dough forms and place in a mold. Send it to the hot oven for about a quarter of an hour.
Step 3
In the meantime, get busy with the stuffing. Pour the figs with boiling water in a small saucepan and place on the stove over medium heat. Cook for about 7-10 minutes to evaporate all the water. Add sugar and soda: we add the latter to make the dried fruits even softer.
Step 4
Remove the base from the oven, spread the filling over it and bake for 20 minutes. Cool completely.
Step 5
For sprinkling, chop the walnuts into medium crumbs and grind with the rest of the ingredients. Sprinkle on the pastry pie, cut into portions and serve.
