It is necessary

  • - 1 rabbit;
  • - 500 g of potatoes;
  • - 1 carrot;
  • - 3 apples;
  • - 1 stalk of celery;
  • - 1 onion;
  • - 300 g of frozen yeast-free dough;
  • - 5 tbsp. l. apple cider vinegar;
  • - 1 tbsp. l. milk;
  • - 1 egg for greasing the dough;
  • - 2 tbsp. l. sunflower oil;
  • - 100 ml of meat broth (you can from a cube);
  • - 3 bay leaves;
  • - fresh herbs for decoration;
  • - salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Peel potatoes, carrots and cut them into large cubes. Chop celery and onion. Sauté vegetables with bay leaf and garlic in sunflower oil.

Step 2

In another skillet, fry the rabbit, cut into several pieces. After the rabbit is browned, pour in the apple cider vinegar, which should evaporate.

Step 3

In a form that goes into the oven, combine the rabbit with vegetables, salt, pour in 100 ml of broth and simmer together for a couple of minutes.

Step 4

Place in an oven preheated to 180 ° C and bake the dish for about 40 minutes, then add the coarsely chopped apples and return to the oven for another 10 minutes. During this time, roll out the thawed dough with a diameter slightly larger than the dish with a rabbit, decorate it. For example, cut the remaining pieces of dough into triangles and place them on top of the dough, brush with protein so that they stick.

Step 5

Take the mold out of the oven and cover it with dough, make a hole in the center. Brush with yolk, whipped with 1 tablespoon of milk. Return to oven for another 15 minutes, until dough is browned. Arrange rabbit meat and vegetables on plates, garnish with herbs.
