Chocolate-cherry cake combines a delicate filling, a chocolate crust and the aroma of almonds and cherries, it turns out incredibly tasty! Instead of almonds, you can take other nuts, and instead of cherries, something at your discretion, but then the taste of the cake will turn out to be somewhat different.
It is necessary
- For the cake:
- - 120 g of sugar;
- - 100 g of butter, flour;
- - 20 g cocoa;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 2 tsp baking powder.
- For filling:
- - 300 ml heavy cream;
- - 250 g cherries;
- - 100 g of icing sugar;
- - 50 g each of chocolate and almonds.
Instructions
Step 1
First prepare the dough, mix cocoa, flour, baking powder, add sugar, stir.

Beat the eggs, add them to the dough, mix gently.
Step 3
Grease a baking sheet, cover with baking paper. Lay out the dough, smooth it out.

Put the baking sheet in the oven, bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. Cool the finished cake.
Step 5
Cut a circle out of the cake and set it aside.

Line a bowl with cling film. Cut out triangles from the remnants of the cake, put in a bowl, repeating its shape.
Step 7
Chop the nuts for the cream. Chop the chocolate finely. Whisk the cream with the icing sugar, add the nuts, and mix. Then add chocolate and cherries and stir.
Step 8
Put the cream in a container with triangular slices of the crust, cover with a circle on top. Refrigerate overnight.
Step 9
Before serving, turn the cake on a platter, decorate as you wish.
