Artichokes are the unblown flower bud of a plant, which consists of large fleshy scales. They are used very often in cooking. Artichokes make delicious salads.
It is necessary
- - 5 artichokes;
- - 150 g of soft cream cheese, salad mix;
- - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- - juice from 1 lemon;
- - a handful of basil;
- - oregano, marjoram, black pepper, salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Rinse the artichokes and peel them off by cutting off any rough petals. Add half the lemon juice to a large amount of boiling water, salt, and boil the artichokes for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Take a teaspoon of the entire fibrous part of the artichoke, cut off the leg if it did not have time to boil to the end and turned out to be very coarse. Cut soft cream cheese into cubes.
Step 3
Place the artichokes on a deep baking sheet, top with half the cheese, sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, sprinkle with oregano and marjoram. Place on top of the oven or under the grill for 5-10 minutes.
Step 4
Pour lemon juice over the remaining chopped cheese, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, a pinch of ground pepper, mix everything thoroughly.
Step 5
Place lettuce leaves on a deep serving dish, top with cheese and dressing, add baked artichokes. Sprinkle with fresh basil, immediately serve the artichoke and cheese salad on the table.
