Venison meat is very tender and soft. And venison marinated in wine, with the addition of black currant and herbs, will simply enchant connoisseurs of steaks. Even replacing venison with veal, an unusual recipe will make the meat melt in your mouth.

It is necessary

  • - 4 venison steaks;
  • - 250 g black currant;
  • - 120 ml. olive oil;
  • - 1 tbsp. fortified red wine.

Instructions

Step 1

Mix crushed black currants with sage, mint, marjoram. Grind the spices in olive oil and add red fortified wine.

Step 2

Pour the steaks with the resulting marinade and place in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

Step 3

We take out the meat from the marinade, which we pour into a blender. Add more black currants and grind the sauce until liquid puree. Grind the sauce through a sieve.

Step 4

Heat the frying pan greased with olive oil and fry the steaks until crisp. Pour the sauce over the meat, salt, pepper with black pepper and simmer over medium heat (up to 20 minutes). Add wine during stewing.

Step 5

Serve the steaks on plates, surrounded by slices of fresh cucumbers and sweet bell peppers. Decorate with black currant berries.
