  • - 150 g flour;

  • Topping:
  • - 150 g of Mascarpone cheese;
  • - 3 tbsp. peanut butter;
  • - 3 tbsp. powdered sugar (or to taste).

Instructions

Step 1

Note that both eggs and butter must be at room temperature to make the dough, so remove them from the refrigerator beforehand.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line the bottom of a baking dish with a diameter of about 28 cm with baking paper and brush the sides with melted butter.

Step 3

Beat two types of butter with the addition of sugar with a mixer in a fluffy cream. Add eggs one at a time, whisking each time. Sift flour mixed with baking powder to the butter mixture.

Step 4

Transfer the dough to the prepared mold and flatten the top with a silicone spatula. Put in the oven for about half an hour, then cool for 20 minutes in the mold, then take it out of the mold on parchment and cool completely. Place on a serving platter.

Step 5

For topping, combine all the ingredients and apply over the top of the cake. Smooth with a spatula and leave to soak at room temperature for half an hour, and then refrigerate for a few hours. Take the cake out of the fridge 10 minutes before serving and slice it straight away for a cleaner cut.
