It is necessary

  • - wheat flour - 1 kg;
  • - salt - 1 tablespoon;
  • - a mixture of anise and sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon;
  • - yeast - 25 g;
  • - warm water - 2, 5 glasses.

Instructions

Step 1

Pour a kilogram of wheat flour, passing it through a sieve, into a fairly deep bowl. Then add salt and yeast to this dry mass. Dissolve the second in warm water. Stir the resulting mixture for a quarter of an hour. If your dough is tough, add a little water to it little by little.

Step 2

Spread the mixture of anise and sesame seeds in an even layer on the work surface, having previously moistened it with a small amount of water. Place the dough divided into 3 equal parts on this mass and roll it well in it and roll it into a ball shape.

Step 3

Then roll the spherical shapes so that you get a round Moroccan bread. Cover it with a towel or blanket and leave it warm for an hour and a half, no less.

Step 4

After the lapse of time, place each bread on a baking sheet, or rather on a sheet of parchment laid on it, at some distance from each other. Chop the surface of the round loaves in several places with a fork. In this form, send the dish to be baked in the oven, the temperature of which is not lower than 180 degrees, until the crust is light brown.

Step 5

After removing the pastries from the oven, let them lie under the towel for a while. Moroccan bread is ready!
