It is necessary

  • - pitted prunes - 1 cup;
  • - pitted dates - 1/2 cup;
  • - almond oil - 3 tablespoons;
  • - maple syrup - 1 tablespoon;
  • - lime juice - 1 tablespoon;
  • - zest of one lime;
  • - cocoa powder - 3 tablespoons.

Instructions

Step 1

Put the dried fruits in different dishes, then pour boiling water over. They should be in this state for at least 10 minutes. After the time has elapsed, rinse both dates and prunes thoroughly under warm running water. Then mix both, having previously chopped with a blender to a state of gruel.

Step 2

Remove the chopped dried fruits from the blender and transfer them to an empty, clean dish. Add almond oil and maple syrup to this mixture. Mix everything until smooth. By the way, if you don't have almond oil, you can replace it with cream, the fat content of which is at least 26%.

Step 3

With the lime, do the following: rinse it thoroughly, then scald it with boiling water. Cut the fruit into 2 equal parts and squeeze the juice out of each. Grind the lime zest with a fine grater. Put both that, and another to the bulk. Stir properly.

Step 4

Add cocoa powder to the resulting homogeneous mass. Stir everything until the cocoa is completely dissolved. Put the mixture in the refrigerator for about 6-7 hours, and best of all for the whole night.

Step 5

After the time has elapsed, remove the candy mass from the refrigerator. Gently pinch off small pieces from it and roll them into a ball shape. Then roll each resulting lime truffle in cocoa or, for example, in pre-shredded waffles.

Step 6

Put the treat in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes - it should cool down. Lime truffles are ready!
