Carrot cake with almonds is prepared in an hour and a half. It turns out hearty and healthy pastries.
It is necessary
- For four servings:
- - almonds - 300 g;
- - two carrots;
- - sugar - 200 g;
- - wheat flour - 50 g;
- - four eggs;
- - lemon zest - 3 tbsp. spoons;
- - Cointreau - 1 tbsp. the spoon;
- - baking powder - 1 tsp.
Instructions
Step 1
Grate two large carrots. Grind almonds into flour, mix together.
Step 2
Divide the eggs into whites and yolks. Whisk the yolks and sugar (100 grams), add baking powder, flour, zest and cointreau (liqueur). Add some cinnamon if desired. Mix this mixture with carrots and almonds.
Step 3
Whisk the whites with sugar (100 grams), stir into the dough. Place the dough in a deep buttered dish.
Step 4
Bake for just under an hour. The oven should be preheated to a temperature of 180 degrees.
Step 5
Remove the finished cake from the mold, let it cool slightly.
