But nutritional value and usefulness are also important in this matter. The proposed version of the shrimp cocktail salad is quite simple to make, but effective when served. Its exquisite taste can surprise guests at a family celebration or replace dinner with a strict diet.

It is necessary

    • For 3-4 servings:
    • 300 grams of shrimp;
    • half a can of canned corn;
    • salad onions;
    • 3-4 tangerines.
    • For the sauce:
    • 1-2 oranges;
    • one dessert spoon of vegetable (preferably olive) oil for each serving;
    • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
    • salt
    • spices to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Boil the shrimps in salted water and remove the shell, large ones - cut. Leave a few large shrimp whole for garnish. Take a large wine or wide cocktail glass. Place the shrimps on the bottom of the glass.

Step 2

Cut the salad onions into thin rings, put in a cup, cover with boiling water and leave for 5 minutes. You can add 1 teaspoon of vinegar to boiling water to make the onion more tender. After 5 minutes, take out the onion, disassemble it into rings and put it in a thin layer in a glass on the shrimp.

Step 3

The next layer is canned corn. Drain the water from the corn, gently spoon into the glass on top of the onion.

Step 4

Remove the peel from the tangerines, disassemble into slices. Lay on top of the corn. Tangerines can be substituted with pineapple slices or unsweetened, finely chopped, peeled apples.

Step 5

Squeeze juice out of one orange. Mix the juice and all the ingredients for the sauce, pour the sauce over the salad. Place a shrimp and an orange slice on the edge of the glass for decoration. Bon Appetit!
