Homemade pies can make a real cook out of a hostess in the eyes of her loved ones. But it so happens that the cake desperately refuses to crawl out of the mold. In order to pull it out without loss for appearance, you can use several tricks.
Instructions
Step 1
Leave the cake in the pan until it cools completely. First, do not rush to remove the form from the oven immediately after turning it off. Always leave it inside for fifteen to twenty minutes. This will save the cake from settling. Secondly, put the cake on the table and forget about it for at least half an hour. Cool down, or better completely cooled down, the cake leaves the mold perfectly, leaving no pieces in it from its sides.
Step 2
Cover the cake with a dry towel, placing it on a wet one. When taking out a pie from the oven, send it not to the table or cutting board, but to a towel soaked in cold water in advance. It is advisable not to wring it out at all. Wrap the bottom or sides of the mold with a wet towel, and cover the top with a dry one. After fifteen minutes, you can easily remove the cake from the mold.
Step 3
Run a wooden spatula around the edge, making a gap between the tin and the cake. This method is good in cases where the sides of the cake are stuck. Do not use a knife - this will damage the shape.
Step 4
Turn the cake pan over and tap on it. Place upside down on a plate and beat on top with a wooden spatula. The pie will be on the platter in three minutes.
Step 5
Place the mold in cold water. Pour water into a basin and lower the mold into it after a little cooling. Be careful not to get moisture on the baked goods, otherwise it will deteriorate.
Step 6
Use silicone or split molds to keep cake sticking to a minimum. The first ones do not need to be oiled or sprinkled with flour at all.
