The real Irish Baileys is based on a specific blend of cream, whiskey and spirits. In its pure form, it is liked in most cases only by inveterate sweet tooth. Many people prefer to supplement it with something. For example, having a homemade Baileys on hand, you can always please your guests with such an unusual cocktail as Ball No. 8. This is a low-alcohol cocktail that looks more like a dessert than a drink. The secret of its preparation is simple: pour about 30 milliliters of an analogue of liqueur into a glass, and put a ball of ice cream weighing about 30 grams on top. Believe me, such an extraordinary combination of sweet alcohol and cool ice cream will not leave anyone indifferent. It remains only to find out how to prepare an analogue of "Baileys" based on condensed milk, because with it you can prepare not only homemade cocktails, but also soak biscuits with it, add it to coffee and desserts.

Classic home "Baileys"

This is a basic recipe, and you can come up with many variations on its basis, experimenting with different elements and additives. Get creative and create a recipe for such a condensed milk-based cocktail that is right for you. Of course, vodka is not the best ingredient for this cocktail. If you can, then use whiskey and alcohol. However, there is one condition - do not overdo it with alcohol, otherwise your guests and you yourself may be surprised at the effect that the cocktail will have. Later, you can replace the whiskey with, for example, cognac. Such an experiment will give the cocktail new flavoring colors.

To make homemade Baileys you will need:

- 0.5 liters of vodka;

- 1 can of condensed milk;

- 300 ml of cream;

-15 g vanilla sugar

Make sure to chill the cream thoroughly before you start making the classic cocktail. After that, they need to be mixed with vanilla sugar and beat for five to ten minutes. Now it's the turn of the condensed milk. After adding it to the cream, beat the mixture thoroughly again. Add the prescribed amount of vodka to the resulting homogeneous mass, mix everything again thoroughly and leave to infuse. Remember that it should take at least one and a half hours before you put your home "Baileys" in the refrigerator. After the cocktail has cooled well, you can proceed to the most enjoyable stage - tasting.

Chocolate Baileys

In order to make chocolate Baileys you will need:

- 0.5 liters of vodka;

- 1 can of condensed milk;

- 100 g of dark chocolate;

- 15 g vanilla sugar;

- 300 g cream

Melt the dark chocolate by heating it in a water bath. Whip the cream together with the vanilla sugar, spending at least five minutes on this process, then gradually add the chocolate, continuing to gently whisk the mixture, gradually pour in the condensed milk and mix thoroughly again. Of course, it's good if you have a blender or mixer, the effect of hand whipping can be disappointing. After the base mixture is ready, you can add vodka, achieve homogeneity again and leave to brew. Do not forget to chill the resulting cocktail, thanks to this it will acquire a special thickness. This homemade liqueur variant is especially suitable for soaking biscuits.

Baileys coffee and mint

Based on the classic recipe, you can make a coffee "Baileys". The process of preparing this cocktail variation is similar, however, in addition, 15 grams of instant coffee must be added to the drink. Remember that the coffee must be of good quality, otherwise the taste of your cocktail may suffer.

There is another very interesting variant of making "Baileyz" - with the addition of mint. The recipe for making chocolate "Baileys" is taken as a basis, however, in addition to the standard set of ingredients, you need to prepare about 10 grams of fresh mint. While melting the chocolate in a water bath, add mint leaves to it so that it can give the chocolate all its flavor and aroma. Be sure to catch all the mint leaves before adding chocolate to your shake.
