Instructions
Step 1
To make rosehip tea, add four teaspoons of dried fruit to an enamel pot. You can brew rose hips in a fireproof glass dish. Pour the fruit over with hot water and soak for ten minutes.
Place the rose hips on low heat and simmer for another five minutes after the liquid has boiled. Refrigerate the drink under the lid. Wipe the steamed rose hips and place them back into the tea. Sweet lovers can add honey to the drink.
Step 2
It is known that during heat treatment, the vitamins contained in rose hips are destroyed and instead of healing tea, a simple compote can be obtained. Knowing this, lovers of healthy food recommend not to cook rose hips, but to brew them in a thermos. To prepare a drink in this way, pour five teaspoons of dry fruits into a thermos. Pour boiling water over the berries and leave for three hours.
Step 3
A vitamin drink can be made from rose hips and rowan berries. To prepare this drink, mix half a tablespoon of chopped rose hips with the same amount of red rowan.
Pour boiling water over the mixture and insist in a thermos for 24 hours. Add honey to the vitamin drink to taste.
Step 4
Black currant can be added to rosehip tea. To prepare a drink, mix a teaspoon of rose hips with a teaspoon of fresh black currant. Boil the berries with boiling water. This drink is infused for an hour.
Step 5
Most often, rosehip tea is sweetened with honey or sugar. You don't need to do this if you are brewing a rosehip raisin drink. To prepare it, pour a teaspoon of rose hips with half a glass of boiling water.
Place the dishes with rose hips in a saucepan with boiling water, cover the pan with a lid and put it on low heat. Insist the rose hips for ten minutes. The water level in the pot should be such that it does not fall into the container with the rosehip infusion.
Rinse ten grams of raisins in hot water, cut them, pour half a glass of boiling water and cook for ten minutes.
Mix strained rosehip infusion with strained raisin broth.
