It is necessary
- - kiwi - 1 kg;
- - lemon - 1 kg;
- - sugar - 600-800 g;
- - semi-dry white wine - 1 glass.
Instructions
Step 1
Carefully remove the skin from the washed kiwi, then cut into small pieces. For the preparation of this jam, it is best to use not overripe fruits of this fruit, but those that are hard enough.
Step 2
From the washed lemons, remove the zest along with the white layer under the rind. If you do not remove this layer, then the jam may taste bitter. Chop the remaining pulp into exactly the same pieces as the kiwi.
Step 3
Add a glass of granulated sugar to the sliced citrus fruits. In this state, they should be for half an hour. This procedure must be carried out in order for the lemons to give juice. If you want the jam to be sweeter, add more sugar.
Step 4
Mix the remaining granulated sugar with the wine in a saucepan. Cook this syrup over very low heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Step 5
In a mixture of granulated sugar and white semi-dry wine, add the lemon mass along with the released juice. Mix everything properly. After boiling, cook for another 3 minutes.
Step 6
After cooling the mass of lemons, add the kiwi, chopped into pieces, into it. Cook the mixture brought to a boil for 15-20 minutes. Cover the resulting jam by transferring it to a sterilized dish with sterile lids.
Step 7
Store this workpiece in the cellar. Kiwi and lemon jam is ready!
