Jelly is one of those desserts that both adults and children like. It is made from fruit juices and decoctions, as well as dairy products (milk, cream, cottage cheese and sour cream), into which gelatin is introduced.
Sour cream jelly recipe
To make a traditional sour cream jelly without any additives, you need the following ingredients:
- 200 g sour cream (20%);
- 100 g of sugar;
- 1 sachet of gelatin.
Combine sour cream with granulated sugar and beat very well until the volume doubles. Prepare the gelatin. To do this, soak it in cold water for 40-60 minutes, then bring to a boil and refrigerate. Pour the cooled gelatin in a thin stream into the sour cream mass.
Stir, pour into molds or bowls and set in the refrigerator to freeze. If desired, when serving, sour cream jelly can be garnished with fresh berries and fruits.
Recipe for sour cream jelly "Snowball" with bananas
To prepare sour cream jelly according to this recipe, you need to take:
- 2 ripe bananas;
- 450 g sour cream (20%);
- 12 g of instant gelatin;
- 2 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
- 2 tbsp. l. ready-made strong tea;
- dark chocolate.
Peel the bananas and mash them well with a fork, grate or chop in a blender. Dissolve instant gelatin in strong tea. Then add sour cream and gelatin to the banana puree. Mix everything thoroughly. Put the prepared jelly in molds and put in the refrigerator for an hour and a half to harden. Sprinkle the sour cream jelly with grated chocolate before serving.
Sour cream and raspberry jelly recipe
To make jelly from sour cream and raspberries, you will need:
- 800 g raspberries;
- 150 g sour cream (15-20%);
- 100 g of sugar;
- 20 g of gelatin.
Beat the sour cream with granulated sugar very thoroughly. Mash the raspberries and strain the resulting juice through cheesecloth. Pour gelatin with 200 milliliters of cold boiled water. Let it swell for 40 minutes and dissolve in a water bath. Then add the gelatin to the raspberry juice and mix everything with the sour cream, whipped with sugar. Put the prepared mixture in molds soaked in cold water and place in the refrigerator to harden. Before serving, place the molds in hot water for a few seconds and immediately turn the contents onto dessert plates. Garnish with raspberry jelly.
Recipe for jelly "Duet" with sour cream and cottage cheese
To prepare curd-sour cream jelly "Duet" you need to take:
- 450 g sour cream (15%);
- 450 g of cottage cheese;
- 350 g icing sugar;
- 4 tsp gelatin;
- vanillin;
- 2-3 tbsp. l. cocoa powder.
Mix cottage cheese with sour cream and powdered sugar. Soak gelatin in ¾ cup of boiled cold water, dissolve it in a water bath after about an hour. Then add the gelatin to the curd-sour cream mass and, after mixing thoroughly, divide it into 2 parts. Put vanillin in one, and cocoa powder in the other and stir each well. Take a form and pour into it alternately 2 tablespoons of the prepared mass. When it's over, put the jelly in the refrigerator for 5 hours.
