A convenient and very easy way to feed your guests is to make them a whole snack sandwich cake, which is enough for everyone. A sandwich cake is an unbaked bread cake that combines several savory fillings and is essentially a multi-layered sandwich.
It is necessary
- - 600 g of wheat bread, round or rectangular,
- - 30 g butter,
- - 20 g green onions,
- - parsley,
- - 50 g horseradish,
- - 50 g sour cream,
- - 100 g of mayonnaise,
- - 3 fresh tomatoes,
- - 2 fresh cucumbers,
- - 200 g of beef liver,
- - 200 g ham,
- - 150 g processed cheese,
- - 50 g of radishes,
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
A loaf of round or brick-shaped wheat bread - the base of a sandwich cake - cut off all sides of the crust, except for the bottom crust, cut into thin layers 1-1.5 cm thick and spread each with a thin layer of soft butter.
Step 2
Sprinkle the bottom layer of the sandwich cake with chopped green onions and parsley. Pour the second layer with grated horseradish mixed with sour cream, the third with chopped ham, the fourth with melted cheese, the fifth with boiled and chopped salted liver. Simply grease the top layer of the sandwich cake with mayonnaise.
Step 3
Spread mayonnaise in a thin layer on top of each layer of the sandwich cake. Combine and lightly press the cakes together. Garnish the edges of the bread cake with thinly sliced slices of tomatoes, cucumbers and radishes. You can decorate the sandwich cake at your discretion - grated hard cheese, grated ham, grated boiled egg, herbs, and other vegetables. Be sure to place the bread cake dish in the refrigerator. Before serving, cut the sandwich cake, as you usually cut the birthday cake.
Step 4
At your choice, you can fill the sandwich cake with half sprat or a paste of chopped boiled chicken, fish and butter. As a filling of a sandwich cake, slices of salmon, caviar and other products to taste are suitable.
