Italian pizza is traditionally made from thin yeast-free dough. Homemade pizza can be made with a wide variety of doughs, but classic pizza is prepared that way.
How to make thin pizza dough
This test requires the following ingredients:
- flour - 175 g, - ¼ teaspoon of salt, - ¼ teaspoon dry yeast, - warm water - 125 ml, - olive oil - a tablespoon.
Combine flour, yeast, and salt, best done using a food processor. Mix water and oil in a separate container. The liquid is introduced into the flour mixture, after which the dough is kneaded. Knead it until the mixture becomes homogeneous.
Sprinkle the table with flour in the place where you are going to knead the dough. Pour the contents of the container onto a floured place, knead for 2-3 minutes. Transfer the kneaded dough to a bowl and brush with olive oil. Now it is better to cover everything with cling film and place for about half an hour in a warm place. The dough should double in volume. If this happened before, then it's time to open the bowl.
Now the dough must be properly kneaded for about two to three minutes. Put it back on a surface sprinkled with flour, roll it into a thin circle. Place the resulting cake on a baking sheet, greased in advance. Form small sides on the circle, fill with filling. You need to bake until the filling is ready. After baking, the pizza is thin, soft and crispy.
