  • - 1 large onion
  • - 2 eggs
  • - 1 large sour apple
  • - 100g semi-hard cheese
  • - sour cream 15-20%
  • - mayonnaise

Instructions

Step 1

Put the French salad in a salad bowl in layers. The first layer is onions. First, take a large onion, peel it and cut it into very thin slices. Pour boiling water on the onion for 3 minutes, then drain this hot water and rinse the onion under running cold water. Let the water drain. Put the onion on the bottom of the salad bowl. Now we are preparing a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise in a separate bowl in a 1: 1 ratio. We coat the entire layer well with this mixture.

Step 2

The second layer of our salad consists of eggs. Eggs need to be hard boiled. We clean them from the shell, then rub on a fine grater. We lay the eggs with the second layer of our salad on top of the onion and also coat them with a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise. The third layer consists of an apple. First, peel it, and then rub it on a coarse grater. We spread it on an egg, coat with a sour cream-mayonnaise mixture. The last layer is cheese. Three of it on a fine grater (it turns out much softer and more pleasant), carefully put it in a salad bowl on top of all three layers. We coat it well with our, so to speak, sauce.

Step 3

If desired, you can decorate with finely grated walnuts or herbs (as you like). Put the salad in the refrigerator and give it time to soak before serving.
