Silicone is a soft and durable material. Silicone bakeware is very easy to use and eliminates fat when baking. In order for the forms to serve for a long time, you must use them correctly.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash new silicone molds with liquid detergent to remove process dust. Let the water drain, dry the containers and grease them from the inside with vegetable oil. It is only necessary to lubricate the mold with oil once - before the first use.
Step 2
Place the silicone mold on a baking sheet, wire rack or microwave oven rack and then pour the dough into it. Place the dough pan in the oven or microwave. Silicone can be used for baking in both electric and gas ovens. In both cases, make sure that the edges of the cookware do not touch the walls of the oven.
Step 3
If the food is baked in the gas oven, do not place the silicone cookware close to the flame, otherwise it could be damaged. Do not place silicone molds on gas or electric hotplates.
Step 4
Remove the finished baked goods from the oven, let them cool for five minutes without removing them from the mold. To remove the pastry, tilt the silicone mold on its side, the baked dough will fall out of it without any additional effort. If the pastry cannot be removed, it must be picked up from the side with a special wooden or silicone spatula. Do not use a knife or other metal objects, otherwise the silicone mold may be damaged.
Step 5
Wash the soft silicone mold after use. Since nothing burns in it, this process will take a little time.
Use only mild detergents for washing, do not use any abrasive agents. In the event that baking in a silicone dish suddenly burns a little, it is much easier to wash it than dishes made of another material.
Step 6
Silicone bakeware can be rolled up and folded into the cupboard so that it doesn't take up too much space. They do not deform, and will return to their original form the next time they are used.
