It is necessary

  • - 400 g sugar
  • - 65 ml of agave syrup or nectar,
  • - 50 ml of water,
  • - 2.5 ml vanilla extract
  • - a little lavender (optional).

Instructions

Step 1

Pour 50 ml of water and 65 ml of agave syrup into a heavy-bottomed saucepan. If you don't have agave syrup on hand, use glucose syrup. Add 400 grams of sugar (2 x 200 ml cups) and stir.

Step 2

Place a saucepan with syrup and sugar over low heat.

Step 3

After the sugar has melted, add any food flavoring to the saucepan. In this recipe, it is vanilla extract.

Step 4

Grind the lavender blossom and add it to the boiling sugar mass.

Step 5

From the moment it boils, cook the sugar mass for about 7 minutes. Do not stir during cooking. Place a silicone mat on the table. Spread the sugar mass over the rug in the form of circles, five centimeters in diameter, a little less or more, to taste. You can replace the silicone mat with a baking sheet of lined parchment.

Step 6

Put a skewer in sugar circles. Leave the lozenges to cool at room temperature for half an hour.

Step 7

After half an hour, carefully remove the lollipops from the rug. Wrap each lollipop in plastic wrap, after which you can distribute to children.
