Making a rose from mastic is not difficult at all, as it might seem at first glance. The fact is that working with mastic is no more difficult than with ordinary plasticine. This material is very malleable.
It is necessary
- - red or pink mastic;
- - glass (or a special shape for cutting round parts);
- - the spoon;
- - knife.
Instructions
Step 1
The first step is to roll the mastic to the required thickness. The approximate thickness of the formation is 2 millimeters. Using a glass or a special shape, cut circles out of mastic on the basis that six parts are needed for one flower.
Step 2
Next, you need to separate the parts and put them in a pile, so that in the future it will be more convenient to work with them.
Step 3
The next step is to create the petals. To make the petals of the roses look like real ones, it is necessary to gently press each piece in the shape of a circle with a spoon. Thus, they will not only become much thinner, but also acquire an irregular shape.
Step 4
Next, you need to make a shape in the form of a cone from a small piece of mastic, take one blank-petal and wrap it around the "core".
Step 5
Then take the next petal and repeat the procedure, placing the second petal slightly to the right or left of the previous one.
Step 6
Do the same with the rest of the petals. To make the rose beautiful, you need to arrange the petals evenly.
Step 7
Next, you need to cut off the lower (auxiliary) part of the flower with a knife.
Step 8
The rosette is ready. You can leave it like this, or you can slightly bend the petals.
Step 9
If you need to create many of these colors, then you need to act according to the same scheme as described above.
