Instructions
Step 1
We start preparing the casserole by preparing the ingredients for the dough.
To add airiness to the curd casserole, it is worth separating the yolks from the whites.
Beat the whites and half the sugar separately until the mass doubles.
Beat the yolks with the second half of the sugar until white.
Step 2
Pour the raisins with the juice of one orange to fully reveal the taste of dried fruit and give it a light citrus note.
Step 3
Pour the semolina with hot milk for two minutes - steam it.
Step 4
First, add whipped yolks to the curd and mix, then the steamed semolina and buckwheat flour and stir again thoroughly.
Add candied fruits and raisins to the curd, after draining the orange juice.
Stir the curd mass so that the raisins and candied fruits are evenly distributed over the dough.
Step 5
Add the whipped egg whites at the very last moment. Stir in them carefully with a spatula or spoon, so as not to damage their delicate and lush texture.
Step 6
Grease the ceramic mold with butter.
We distribute the dough in shape and put it to bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
Leave the finished casserole for another 15 minutes in the oven with the door open. In this case, our casserole will not fall off and remain fluffy.
Step 7
Decorate the rosy cottage cheese casserole with powdered sugar and serve with sour cream.
