For Easter, I want to please loved ones with delicious festive dishes. However, due to lack of time, not all housewives take up the preparation of cakes, preferring to buy store baked goods. However, if you still want to surprise your guests with a dish of your own preparation, you can bake beautiful and delicious Easter cookies with Krashenki glaze, especially since even a novice hostess will cope with their baking, and the cooking process will not take much time.
It is necessary
- - 200 g of wheat flour;
- - 25 g almond flour;
- - 120 g butter;
- - 50 g icing sugar
- - 1/3 tsp salt;
- - 1 yolk;
- - 1, 5 tbsp. ice water;
- - vanillin.
- To prepare the glaze:
- - 170 g icing sugar;
- - 1 protein;
- - 1, 5 tsp lemon juice;
- - food colors of different colors.
Instructions
Step 1
Butter (preferably pre-frozen) cut into small cubes and grind with flour and salt. You can do this with your hands or with a food processor. Add almond flour (optional) and icing sugar, stir well, then add egg yolk into the dough.
Step 2
Add ice water in small portions to the dough until it is damp and the crumbs can be collected in a ball. Wrap the finished dough with cling film and refrigerate for 40 minutes.
Step 3
Roll out the cooled dough into a layer about 5 mm thick, then cut out the cookies in the shape of eggs using a special notch. Place the cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 180 ° C for 8-12 minutes.
Step 4
While the cookies are cooking, start making the colored icing. Mix the icing sugar with the egg white and beat thoroughly, then gently add the lemon juice to the mixture and stir. Divide the icing into several parts according to the number of food colors and color it in different colors.
Step 5
Place the icing in a piping bag or syringe and decorate the cooled cookies. The icing on your Easter baked goods should dry within 3-4 hours.
