Easter is a dish that annually decorates almost every festive table on the day of the bright holiday of Easter. It is customary to prepare this sweet dessert in special cone-shaped forms, but it is quite possible to prepare this dish without a pasochny, using improvised items.

It is necessary

  • - 1 kg of loose cottage cheese;
  • - 9 eggs;
  • - 250 g butter;
  • - 1 large lemon;
  • - 200 ml of fat sour cream;
  • - 200 ml heavy cream;
  • - 200 g of icing sugar;
  • - 50 g each of almonds and raisins;
  • - cone-shaped grater;
  • - gauze.

Instructions

Step 1

You can buy a pasochna in many stores, church shops, but if you still did not manage to buy this utensil for some reason, do not be upset. After all, you can cook Easter without a special form.

Rub the cottage cheese through a fine sieve, beat the butter with powdered sugar. Mix butter with cottage cheese and put on fire. Bring the mass to 80-90 degrees over low heat, then remove from the stove.

Step 2

Add all the eggs one at a time to the hot curd and knead thoroughly. This must be done quickly so that the mass does not have time to cool down.

So that the cottage cheese does not cool down quickly, it should be placed on the stove in a thick-bottomed pan. During cooking, it will slowly cool down, which will prevent the curd mass from becoming cold within five minutes after removing it from the heat.

Step 3

Wash the lemon and cut it in half. Remove the zest from one half and squeeze out the juice. Cut the other half into thin beautiful slices.

Step 4

Add cream, sour cream, washed raisins, chopped almonds, zest, lemon juice to the already cooled mass and mix thoroughly. You should end up with a liquid substance, but don't be intimidated by this.

Step 5

Take a tapered stainless steel grater, remove the handle if necessary, then place it in a tall saucepan, narrow side down. Cover the entire inside of the grater with one piece of cheesecloth, and pull the ends of the cheesecloth out.

Place the curd mass in a homemade "pasochny", put the ends of the gauze together and lay them so that the mass does not flow out from above. Put oppression on Easter and place it in the refrigerator for a day.

Step 6

After a day, remove the Easter from the homemade pasochny (just gently turn the mold over) and set it on a beautiful wide dish. Garnish with lemon wedges.
