The easiest thing for a raw foodist to eat is an apple - that's lunch. But sometimes you want to enjoy a combination of flavors. Making raw sushi quickly and easily is such a healthy Japanese-style fast food.
It is necessary
- - nori
- - cauliflower
- - cucumber
- - a tomato
- - wasabi
- - flax seeds
- - soy sauce
Instructions
Step 1
There are two types of nori on the shelves of the Asian cuisine department in the store: fried and dried. For raw food sushi, the difference is fundamental, so you should choose dried nori that has not undergone heat treatment.
Flax seeds must be ground in a coffee grinder before starting the sushi preparation process.
Cut the cauliflower into crumbs very finely. This should be done with a sharp knife, without using a meat grinder or blender, as such devices will damage the pieces, the cabbage will begin to secrete juice and the taste will deteriorate.
We take the number of products from the calculation: for one nori leaf, 1-2 tablespoons of cabbage chips mixed with 0.5 - 1 teaspoon of ground seeds, about a quarter of a cucumber and one slice of tomato.
If there is no special mat for sushi and rolls, it does not matter: you can twist sushi on a cloth napkin.
Step 2
Spread the nori leaf on the table, put it about halfway, leaving 1 - 1.5 cm of empty space on one side, cauliflower crumbs mixed with ground flax seeds. Place the thinnest slices of cucumber cut with a vegetable peeler on top of the cabbage. Fill the entire surface of the cabbage by placing the cucumber in one layer.
Cut a slice from the tomato with a thickness of 0.3 - 0.5 cm. Cut a slice into cubes. Arrange the tomato slices along the cucumber layer. Put a strip of wasabi in parallel with the tomato.
Step 3
Wrap in a roll, starting from the side with an indent of 1 -1.5 cm. The edge of the nori can be moistened with cold water for better adhesion.
Cut the roll formed in this way along the perforation lines using a knife with a sharp thin blade, which must be moistened with cold water.
Serve raw sushi with soy sauce mixed with wasabi.
