Chicken in mayonnaise is a fairly simple dish to prepare and does not require large expenses. At the same time, the treat turns out to be very tasty and may well be served at the festive table. Mashed potatoes are best served as a side dish.

- 200 g mayonnaise
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- salt
- ground black pepper and other spices to taste
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Step 1
Divide the chicken into several parts, rinse under running water and pat dry with a napkin.

Use a knife to make cuts in the thickest parts of the chicken so that the seasoning is evenly soaked into the meat.

Peel and wash the cloves of garlic. Grate them on a fine grater or pass them through a garlic press.
Step 4
Rub the entire surface, including the cuts you made, with salt and the spice mixture, then place all the pieces in a bowl or saucepan and brush with mashed garlic and mayonnaise. Place the chicken in the mayonnaise in the fridge and leave it there for an hour.
Step 5
After one hour, grease a baking sheet (pan) with vegetable oil, put pieces of chicken coated with mayonnaise on it. Preheat the oven to 150 ° C and place the chicken baking sheet in it.
Step 6
After 30 minutes, increase the heat in the oven to 180 ° C. When the chicken is golden brown, remove the baking sheet, divide the meat into portions and line the edges of the dish with garnish.
