Veal contains a large percentage of proteins and a whole complex of vitamins, as well as iron, potassium and phosphorus. Due to the easy assimilation by the body of amino acids and minerals contained in veal, this meat is considered very useful and is recommended for dietary and baby food. The nutritional value of veal during heat treatment practically does not decrease.

    • For veal in sour cream sauce with onions:
    • 500 g of veal;
    • vegetable oil;
    • ground black pepper;
    • salt.
    • For the sauce:
    • 0.5 cups sour cream;
    • 1 head of onion;
    • a tablespoon of flour;
    • vegetable oil;
    • salt.
    • For the veal rump steak:
    • 500 g of veal;
    • 2 eggs;
    • a glass of bread crumbs;
    • 3 tablespoons of butter;
    • ground black pepper;
    • salt.

Instructions

Step 1

The sirloin is ideal for cooking veal in sour cream sauce with onions. Wash and dry the meat. Strip from the tendons, if any, cut into portions 1, 5-2 centimeters thick and beat off with a wooden mallet or hoe.

Step 2

Sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and put on high heat. Place the pieces of veal in a hot skillet. After the meat is browned on one side, turn the piece over to the other side. Transfer the finished meat to a dish.

Step 3

Peel the onion and chop finely. Pour oil into another pan and fry the onions in it. When the onions are browned and golden brown, sprinkle with flour. Then lightly fry the onion with flour, add sour cream and juice obtained from cooking veal. Boil the sauce for 3-5 minutes, remove from heat and season with salt to taste. You can add any store-bought ready-made tomato sauce or ketchup to this sauce for additional flavor and piquancy.

Step 4

Pour the prepared sauce over the veal before serving. Cook fried potatoes for a side dish.

Step 5

Veal rump steak. Choose a tenderloin for this dish. Wash the veal and pat dry with a towel. Cut into slices about 2 centimeters thick and beat thoroughly with a hoe. Sprinkle the prepared cuts of meat with salt and pepper.

Step 6

Beat the eggs well and soak the beaten pieces of veal in them. Then roll them on both sides in breadcrumbs. You can make your own rump steak breading. To do this, take stale white bread and grate it on a coarse grater.

Step 7

Melt butter or fat in a frying pan, heat well and put the pieces of veal in it. Fry the meat until golden brown, then turn over to the other side. In about ten minutes the veal rump steak will be ready.

Step 8

After frying, put the meat in the oven for ten minutes, as the layer of crackers slows down the heating of the meat.

Step 9

Serve with fried potatoes, green peas and corn. Pour the rump steak with melted butter or the juice that has emerged during cooking.
